The necessity is briefly discussed of designing a digital prototype for boiler feed water pump, and the main parts and principal structure of it are described in the article. A digitalized prototype of the pump was built up using the applica- tion software Solid Works. Virtual assembly interference check and simulation were carried out for the prototype.
