承销商声誉与企业IPO盈余管理——基于深圳中小板市场的实证研究 被引量:1

The Empirical Research of Underwriter Reputation and IPO Earnings Management——Evidence from SME Board in China

摘要 文章以2004-2007年间在我国深圳中小板上市的647家IPO企业为样本,对承销商声誉与企业IPO盈余管理之间的关系进行研究。通过运用修正的琼斯模型和多元回归方程,研究发现声誉高的承销商没有发挥更强的抑制作用且承销商承销的IPO企业数量越多,其越有可能与企业的盈余管理相联系。 With a sample of 647 IPO issuers during the period of 2004-2007 in China Small and Medium Enterprise Board(SME Board),we study in this paper the relationship between underwriter reputation and issuers IPO earnings management.Through using the modified Jones model and multiple regression analysis,we document that underwriters do not act as constraints against issuers IPO earnings management and are possibly positively related with IPO earnings management if they are more frequently involved in IPO in terms of underwritten amounts.
