党的十七大报告提出的思想政治工作要注重人文关怀,为新形势下加强和改进大学生思想政治教育指明了方向,提出了新的更高的要求。充分关注学生个体,帮助学生实现自我和发展自我,才能使思想政治教育工作科学发展;在大学生思想政治教育中注重人文关怀,符合当代大学生思想、学习和生活实际的需求,反映了当代思想政治教育发展的现实需要。

Report of the 17th National People＇s Congress of the Communist Party puts forward the ideological and political work should pay more attention to human solicitude, it pointed out the direction for strengthening and improving the ideological and po- litical education of college students in the new situation, the report put forward a new and higher requirement. We should pay full attention to every student to help them to achieve self- realization and the development of themselves. Only in this way can we lead the ideological and political education work towards the direction of scientific development. Focusing on humane solicitude in the ideological and political education of college students is in hne with the thinking, learning and living of contemporary college students to the actual demand, it reflects the practical needs of the contemporary ideological and political education development.
