顺应论观照下《边城》杨宪益译本探析

On Yang Xianyi's Translation of Bian Cheng from the Perspective of Adaptation Theory

文章从顺应论角度分析杨宪益《边城》英译本,指出杨宪益《边城》英译本是译者动态顺应语境和语言结构的产物,进一步证实了顺应论对文学翻译的指导作用。

This paper aims to analyze Yang Xianyi＇ s translation of Bian Cheng from the perspective of adaptation theory. Through the analysis, conclusion is drawn that Yang＇ s English version is the product of his dynamic adaptation to the language structure adaptation and context adaptation, which further testifies the application of the Adaptation Theory on literary translation.
