Electronic reading rooms are inevitable trend for development of libraries,they＇re also important symbol for the transition to digital libraries.The thesis demonstrates the precautions in the process of electronic reading rooms＇ construction and maintenance,analyses Internet bar phenomenon,puts forward that information literacy education is an important subject which electronic reading rooms must face,poses that propaganda for electronic resources should be strengthened,readers＇ and librarians＇ information literacy should be promoted,so that they could provide high quality service for the readers.
