N_0期鼻咽癌颈部预防照射范围的研究进展

Advances in the Research on Prophylactic Irradiation of Cervical Lymph Nodes for Stage-No Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma

确诊时有5%～35%的鼻咽癌患者未伴有颈部淋巴结转移,称之为N_0期鼻咽癌。这部分患者颈部预防照射的范围和剂量尚无定论。本文从鼻咽癌颈部淋巴结转移规律、颈部淋巴结分期的检查手段、颈部淋巴结阴性鼻咽癌颈部预防照射方式进行三方面综述。

Nasopharyngeal carcinoma （NPC） is an epithelial malignancy that has a remarkable geographic distribution and is highly prevalent in Southem China. NPC patients with negative cervical lymph nodes （stage-N0 NPC） account for 5% to 35% of the to- tal NPC cases. The prophylactic irradiation volume and dose of regional nodes for patients with node-negative NPC remain controversial. This review summarizes the pattern of node metastasis in NPC, the use of imaging techniques, such as computed tomography and MRI scan in diagnosing the node metastases, and the prophylactic elective irradiation of cervical lymph nodes in node-negative patients.
