成都国际化与外语翻译人才培养研究

Research on the Internationalization of Chengdu City and the Culture of Foreign Language Translating Professionals

通过文献检索、专家咨询和调查研究方法,对成都市外语翻译行业发展和人才培养与储备的现状进行基线分析,发现成都市翻译产业潜力巨大,但翻译人才相对匮乏。结合成都建设国际大都市的战略目标,必须建立和完善翻译人才培养和引进机制,改进和优化城市国际化的软环境,才能彻底解决这一重要的制约因素。

We analyzed the baseline of the translating industry and the situation of human power of the industry, through literature research,expert consultation and investigation.The results showed a great potential of the translating industry in Chengdu.However,the lack of high level translators has restricted the development of the industry, as well as the internationalization of Chengdu.We thus put forward a systematic strategy which focused on the construction of a training center for foreign language professionals.
