人民币升值对中国技术创新能力的影响——基于国际技术扩散的视角 被引量:2

The Effect of RMB Appreciation on China’s Technological Innovation Capability ——Based on the Perspective of International Technology Diffusion

摘要 文章从国际技术扩散视角,详细阐述了本币升值对一国技术创新能力提升的作用机理,并在此基础上运用2003-2011年中国30个地区的面板数据进行实证检验。结果表明,人民币升值总体上显著促进了国内技术创新水平的提高,为国内产业结构调整提供了良好时机;就具体作用渠道而言,人民币升值通过进口贸易、出口贸易、FDI均可以显著促进国内技术创新,通过OFDI也可以促进技术创新但效果并不显著;各个作用渠道中,出口对于技术创新的提升作用最大,OFDI作用最小。 From the perspective of international technology diffusion,this paper elaborates the mechanism that how currency appreciation promotes a country’s technological innovation capability.And then,the paper tests the theoretical analysis with empirical evidences of china’s 30 regional panel data during 2003 to 2011.The result shows that the appreciation of the RMB overall promotes the level of domestic technological innovation significantly,which has provided a good opportunity for domestic industrial restructuring.For the specific channels,RMB appreciation has a significantly positive effect on domestic technological innovation through import trade,export trade and FDI.For the channel of OFDI,the impact is also positive but not significant.Among all of the channels,export trade has the largest effect on enhancing the capability of technological inno vation,and OFDI has the least.
