Measurement of Welding Range Using Ultrasonic Sensor in Underwater Based on Correlation

摘要 根据超声波传感器的特点和水下焊接时的环境特征,设计了一套基于相关分析法的水下超声波测距系统。系统运用软硬件相结合的方法对回波信号进行滤波处理,并运用matlab对发射信号和回波信号进行相关运算来确定信号的渡越时间,进而实现对水下物体距离的测量。研究结果表明:经过滤波处理后的信号所含有的噪声和混响信号得到了抑制,应用互相关超声波测距方法得到的测量值和实际值间的误差可以达到1mm。 According to the ultrasonic sensor characteristics and environmental characteristics of underwater welding, a set of underwater ultrasonic distance measurement system was designed based on the correlation analysis. By the combination of software and hardware, the echo signal was carried out on filter process. The matlab was used to calculate transmit signal, echo signal, then the signal transit time was determined, finally, the underwater object distance measuring was realized. The research results show that after filtering, the signal containing noise and reverberation signal can be suppressed and the error between the measuring value obtained by the application of cross-correlation of ultrasonic ranging and the actual value can achieve lmm.
