方形茸足蚤雌性的记述及其雄性形态的补充(蚤目:细蚤科)

DESCRIPTION OF THE FEMALE OF GEUSIBIA QUADRATA GONG, 1992 WITH SUPPLEMENTARY NOTE ON SOME STRUCTURES OF ITS MALE (SIPHONAPTERA:LEPTOPSYLLIDAE)

The description of Geusibia quadrata Gong, 1992 was based on a single male specimen from Lushui County, Yunnan Province. In this paper the female is described for the first time, and with a supplement ary note to some characters of its male. Diagnosis. Female is quite closely related to G. torosa Jordan, 1932 and G. digitiforma Gong et Lin, 1990, but can be separated from the G. torosa by the following characters: 1) spines of pronotal comb distinctly curved and dosal spine usual longer than dosal margin of pronotum; 2)bulga of spermatheca equalling appoximately to hilla in width and length and with a relatively short prominence. It differs from the G. digitiforma in the sinus of posterior margin of st. Ⅶ being small and its dorsal lobe shorter. Specimen examined. 2♀♀,2♂♂ex Ochotona gaoligongensis, other 1♂, 2♀♀ex O. forresti osgoodi, were collected from Mt.Gaologong (about 3?200 m), Lushui County, Yunnan Province in October, 1997. Body length: ♀ 3.2 3.4 mm, ♂3.1 3.3 mm. The speciemens are kept in the Institute of Epidemiology of Yunnan Province.
