国家建构与国族建构:儒家视角的观照与反思

State-building and Nation-building: Rethought and Reflected from Confucian View

现代国家形态的建构是一个具有某种普遍性的问题。作为一个在满清帝国基础上重建的现代国家,中国的国家建构更是具有相当的特殊性与复杂性。应该承认,我们仍然处在这一艰难的建构过程中。站在儒家的立场上,对中国这一概念和实体的文化政治内涵及其历史演进作一宏观观照,可以唤起和促进人们对这一问题之重要性体认和把握。以此为宗旨,文章对当代思想界在这一问题上的思维特征和价值诉求进行了简单分析,对儒家思想本身及其与现代社会的连接方式文章也有所论及并提出了自己公民宗教论的思路。

How to build a modem state is a universal issue to some extent. As a modem state established on the basis of Qing Emperor, China faces extremely particular and complex trouble in state - building. We have to admit that we are still in the course of struggling for state - building. Supported by Confucian standpoint, this paper rethinks cultural and political connotation of China in concept and entity respectively and reflects Chinese history in macroscopic view. Its main purpose is to raise and promote awareness and understanding of this important issue. Aiming to this goal, the contents of the paper starts by analyzing characteristic of thinking and value apples in academic for this issue. It then argues Confucian thought and how to bridge ancient and modem society. Finally I propose civil religion as resolution for China＇ s state - building and nation - building.
