Clinical Appliance of the Akinosi Mandibular Anesthesia Block Technique

Akinosi下颌神经阻滞麻醉术是一种闭口状态经口内注射同时麻醉下齿槽神经、舌神经和颊神经的方法。本文对120例需拔除下颌牙的病人施行本法,成功率为95%,麻醉显效均在5min以内,无一例发生回抽血阳性及并发症。本文提示该法具有成功率高,麻醉显效快,一针同时麻醉三条神经及闭口位进针的优点,尤其对张口受限及精神紧张的患者具有独特的价值。

The Akinosi mandibular block technique is a closed-mouth intraoral approach to nerve anesthesia block of the mandibular nerve, and anesthetizes the inferior alveolar, lingual, and long buccal nerves by a single injection. This paper describes the Akinosi technique in achieving local anesthesia for the extraction of mandibular teeth of 120 patients. Success rates were 95%, and the onset of anesthesia occurred within 5min. No blood regurgitation in syringe and complication occurred. Advantages of this technique include a higher success rate, faster onset of anesthesia, anesthetization of 3 nerves with a single injection, an intraoral closed-mouth approach, and especial value in patients with limited mandibular opening and apprehension were discussed.
