摘要
作为一种典型的多尺度(或多分辨)分析工具,小波变换已经在很多的信号与图像处理的任务中得到了成功的应用。首先分析了现有的图像分割方法,指出了图像的多尺度特性,以及利用小波变换挖掘图像的多尺度特性的必要性。在分析了小波变换的原理、步骤的基础上,研究了多尺度方法在图像分割问题中的应用。
As a typical mUlti - scale ( or multi - resolution) analysis tool, wavelet transform has been successfully applied in a lot of signal and image processing tasks in various kinds of engineering fields. In this paper, we first analyze the existing image segmentation methods, and then point out that the multi - scale features of the image, as well as the need for mining multi - scale image features using wavelet transform. Based on an investigation of the wavelet, we analyze the feasible of wavelet transform in image segmentation.
