Explore the Intervention Strategies for the Employment of Mentally Retarded Persons from Strengths Perspective

促进残疾人、尤其是智障残疾人就业是我国现阶段构建社会主义和谐社会的重要内容之一。通过介绍智障者就业面临的挑战,从优势视角出发,结合并借鉴学者们的研究成果与建议,在对智障者就业优势进行分析的基础上,提出了促进智障者就业的策略,以增强智障者的成就感和自信心,实现智障者的社会融合和生活质量的提高。

The employment for persons with disabilities,especially for mentally retarded persons,is an important part in this stage of building a harmonious socialist society.From the strengths perspective,through describing challenges faced by the employment of mentally retarded persons,combining with or taking reference to research results and recommendations from the scholars,and based on the analysis of the employment of mentally retarded persons,this study proposes the strategy for promoting the employment of mentally retarded persons in order to enhance the accomplishment sense and self-confidence of mentally retarded persons,to achieve the social integration and to improve the life quality of mentally retarded persons.
