Based on the analysis of development background of the system, the authors depicted the principles, types, structure prop- erties for the construction of geological borehole basic information database. In combination with the need for the clear-up management of the geological borehole basic information, the authors developed some application functions like data warehousing, data query, data statistics, data management summary.
