Metaphors can fill vocabulary vacancies and increase the accuracy and vividness of expression.With the cognitive function,metaphor is a basic way of understanding and the foundation of organizing conceptual system.There are a lot of metaphors in Huangdi Neijing,and interpreting and translating them correctly can spread the content more accurately.This paper summarizes the existing English translation of Huangdi Neijing and reviews the English translation of metaphors in Huangdi Neijing,with a brief description of trends and basic concepts of Conceptual Blending Theory,aimed at introducing it to English translation of metaphors in Huangdi Neijing and analyzing its feasibility.
