王家屏是晚明政坛上一位颇有声望的内阁首辅,他与沈鲤一起被人称为万历朝仅有的两位贤宰辅。家屏为人坦荡无私,因为是阁臣的缘故,诫子勿与科考。面对神宗殆政,大局无可挽回的情况下,他不留恋权位,毅然离去。此外,在诗文创作上,表现为温润典雅,展现了一代首辅开阔的气局。

Wang Jia-ping,a famous prime minister with an excellent reputation in the late Ming dynasty.He and Shenli were considered as two virtuous prime ministers in the late Ming dynasty.He was magnanimous and selfless,as he didn＇t allowed his son to attend the Imperial Examination.Faced with the corruption in Shenzong period,he chose resignation instead of holding the power.Besides,in poetry and article creation,he showed elegancy,reflecting the unique bearing of a famous prime minister.
