The paper spells out the realization way of hydrogen economy from policy and market guarantee and technical realization,and introduces the challenges to which the hydrogen economy is facing with consideration of the safety of the hydrogen（flammability） and energy loss incurring during the generation,storage,and transport of hydrogen.With the description of hydrogen energy development strategy features of countries,the paper shows the broad prospects for development of hydrogen energy and hydrogen economy in the future.
