摘要
教授治校与教授治学在内涵上有重要区别。教授治学从属于教授治校,教授治校是教授治学的前提与基础,并且裹挟着强烈的价值诉求,更有利于推动变革。当前我国大学内部管理中最严重的问题表现为权力配置失衡,学术权力缺乏实质性的话语权,改革的关键在于确立教师在学校管理与决策中的权威地位,构建以学术权力为主导的治理结构,实施教授治校。
There are important connotation differences between "administration by professors" and "academic governance by professors". The latter is subordinate to the former, while the former is a prerequisite for the former. "Administration by professors" contains strong value appeals and is more conducive to driving change. Today, the most serious issue in the internal management of Chinese uni- versities is the power imbalance, with academic leaders having no real say in university management. The key to reform lies in ensuring the authoritative role of faculty members in university management and decision making, building a governance structure dominated by academic power, and establishing a system of administration by professors.
