The super-large container ship of ＂Al QIBLA＂ was taken as an example,according to the particularity of geographical position of Huadong shipyard and it＇s dock,and the particular operating characteristics of super-large vessels,formulating the pilotage project and the process of pilotage operation were introduced in detail.Combined with the actual problem encountered in the process of pilotage operation,the main points and attention of pilotage maneuvering for super-large ship were analyzed and summarized.
