摘要
转化医学作为医学发展的新理念,虽然定义尚未明确,但其作为连接临床医学和实验室之间的桥梁,重要性已日益凸显。胃肠外科的发展始终体现着转化医学的理念。为开展转化医学研究,胃肠外科医师必须学习从临床中寻找研究问题,完整收集临床资料,重视团队协作,特别是跨学科的合作,同时充分利用各种资源。通过转化医学研究，胃肠外科医师能够进一步提高我国胃肠道肿瘤的综合诊治水平,提高患者长期生存率。
As new concept, the definition of translational medicine remains obscure. The translational medicine connects the bench to bedside, and its importance wouht be more remarkable. The development of gastrointestinal surgel＇y reflects the idea of translational medicine. To carry out the translational study, the gastrointestinal surgeon must learn how to find subjects from clinical problems, how to collect complete information and tissues, bow to collaborate with others from different fields and how to utilize all kinds of resources. By translational studies, gastrointestinal surgeons may further improve the survival of patients with gastrointestinal tumor.
