摘要
松阳卯山叶法善的高祖乾昱,虽是位有出世情怀的隐士,但并未与道教发生直接关系。曾祖叶道兴,才是"遹开道脉"、"始构大门"的人物。祖父叶国重和父亲叶慧明习道和传道活动,在浙西南已有相当影响,乃至升闻帝庭,受到征召,但他们仍是在家受箓传道的职业道士。直到叶法善,才由江南道教世家子弟,进位内道场道士、国师、大洞三景法师,乃至景龙观观主、越国公,"恩开五君,名动四国"。侄子叶仲容,晚年弃官从道,承袭黄冠旧业。后裔叶藏质,入天台习道传道,人称尊师,中兴卯山叶氏道业。叶法善及祖孙一门,真称得上是浙西南一个典型的道教世家。
Though a hermit with a strong inclination of retiracy in seclusion, Qian Yu-the great-great- grandfather of Ye Fashan, was not directly related with Taoism. The family only got related with Taoism through Ye Daoxing, the great grandfather of Ye Fashan. Ye Guozhong, the grandfather and Ye Huimin, the father of Ye Fashan started to practice and preach Taoism and their activities were quite influential in 是, southwest Zhejiang and conscripted finally by royal court. However, the family remained to be professional Taoist priests mainly practising at their homeplace. Ye Fashan was the first of the family who gained various official titles and Ye Zhongrong, Ye Fashan's nephew gave up his official position in his old age and carried on the family's trade. Ye Cangzhi, a descendant of the family practiced and preached Taoism at Tiantai, was greatly respected by people of his time and revived the family trade. Ye Fashan together with his grandfather and grandson was a typical Taoist priest in southwest Zhejiang.
