The Key Word and Significantion of Legend of Meng Jiangnv

以往孟姜女传说研究集中于溯源及结构系统分析,少有关注故事元素及其意指功能,忽视了故事承传的传播效能。因此,提炼哭夫、城崩和殉节等要素,探究其在孟姜女传说中的历史功能变化,并辨析哭夫之于礼法、城崩之于反抗暴政、殉节之于封建教化的蕴涵,有助于深入理解其故事的演变过程及其社会效能。

Previous research on Legend of Meng Jiangnv focused on the origin and structure of the system, little atten- tion on story elements and the significantion, ignoring the story forward propagation efficiency. Therefore, we have re- fined elements of Weeping for her husband, the Collapse of City and martyrdom, explored the change of historical function on Legend of Meng Jiangnv, and analysed the significance of Weeping for her husband in etiquette, the Col- lapse of City to rebellion against tyranny, committed martyrdom in the feudal ethics, which should be contributed to a better understanding of its evolution and its social effectiveness of the story.
