中国首个职业拳击推广人没有唐·金那么霸气。
China has produced its first international boxing champion, which is not cultivated by the state system. On November 24 of 2012,Xiong Chaozhong,a boxer from the Miao ethnic minority in Kunming,Yunnan Province, defeated Javier Martinez Resendiz to win the World Boxing Council(WBC) minimum-weight championship.hnmediately after the referee raised Xiong's arm in victory, Liu Gang rushed into the ring and carried Xiong on his shoulder.Liu is both Xiong's manager and trainer;as one of China's earliest advocates of professional boxing,he has been waiting for this moment for ten years. He makes no attempt at modesty,'We deserve this,' he says.Liu plans on holding several low-level fights with tickets costing between 30-50 yuan and through this to cultivate a much larger boxing audience.'It's only a matter of time for China's professional boxing industry to take off,' he says.
