The sequence and components of the predatory behavior of the adult ladybeetle Coccinella septempunctata L. on the spirea aphid, Aphis citricola Van der Goot, the peanut aphid, A. robiniae Macchiati and the English grain aphid Macrosiphum avenae (Fabricius) are described. The predatory behavior consists of seven distinct acts: searching, capturing, chewing, grooming, resting, wingspreading and excretion.
