我们对柳青和《创业史》误读了50年。其问题出在,我们混淆了做人与创作的界限;混淆了政治与文学的界限;混淆了表象真实与本质真实的界限。当代小说家,尤其是陕西小说家,至今都没有对柳青的创作进行过理性的思考;柳青既是引领他们走进文学殿堂的老师,也是妨碍他们创作升华的无形阻隔。超越柳青,跨过无形的阻隔,是一代小说作家必须做的功课。

Liu Qing and his work The History of Entrepreneurship have been misunderstood for half a century. Many reasons account for this phenomenon： how to behave ourselves and how to compose writings get mixed up; politics and literary are confused; superficial and intrinsic truth get mingled together. Contemporary novelists, particularly those from Shaanxi province, have never reflected on Liu Qing＇ s work in a rational way. It is an undeniable fact that it is Liu Qing who leads them on their way to the literary circle and also prevents them from reaching sublimation in an invisible way. It is a must and a responsibility for modem novelists to surpass Liu Qing by striding over the invisible obstacles.
