As an ancient book of notes and commentaries, Lunyuyishu by Huangkan bases its explanation style strictly on The Analects＇ structure and the explanation version written by Heyan. Structurally, Lunyuyishu organizes its explanation chapter by chapter while offers its notes sentence by sentence. There are two main characteristics in explanation： for one thing, by using both traditional and current explanation, Huangkan＇s book theoretically deepens the research on The Analects; for the oth er, by explanation of allusions, famous objects and historic facts, the book draws itself closer to readers space-timely. In this way, wide reference, specific purpose, tactfully detailed explanation result in rich information, good knowledge, particular content and explicit interpretation.
