摘要
本文将区域分割中的最大稳定极值区域(MSERs)检测方法引入到小波与分形相结合的图像压缩编码中,根据区域检测后的图像特征有效地改进了图像块的分割策略、Domain块集合的构成,使得改进后的图像压缩方法更符合人眼的视觉特性,在提高了压缩性能的同时,获得了较高的图像质量.
This paper brings the Maximally Stable Extremal Regions(MSERs) to a hybrid wavelet-fractal coder.According to the image characteristics after region detection,we effectively improve the segmentation of image blocks and the structure of the set of Domain blocks.The improved image compression method more accords with human visual characteristics.This method enhances the compression performance,at the same time,it gets higher image quality.
