理工类院校英语专业人才培养模式新探究

The New Exploration on Talents Training Model of English Major in Science and Engineering Colleges

从培养"厚基础、懂科技、晓国际、勇创新"高素质人才的目标出发,以长沙理工大学为例,在课程体系和实践能力培养等方面进行了探索,并指出理工科院校英语专业人才培养应利用其优势资源,建立"国际化创新型"英语专业人才的培养模式。

This paper, taking Changsha University of Science and Technology as an example, explores the aspects of the curriculum system and practice ability development starting from the goal of cultivating high-quality personnel with solid foundation, scientific and international brain, and innovative courage. Moreo-ver, it pointed out that the English major personnel training in engineering colleges should take advantage of its superior resources, establish international innovative English major talents cultivation mode.
