德阳百万人口城市交通发展问题与对策

The Urban Traffic Development Problems and the Countermeasures on Deyang City with a Population of One Million

城市交通已成为困扰城市管理者和城市居民的重大难题，北京、上海等大城市，更因为交通问题大大降低了城市运行效率，甚至变成不宜居住之地。尤其要注意的是，更多的中小城市已开始堵起来，而这些中小城市正加速向大城市、特大城市发展，如果我们从现在起就高度关注并提前谋划，未来的拥堵问题或许能够大大减缓。本文以德阳为例，对中小城市交通发展问题进行了初步分析，并提出了一些具体建议．供有关城市和城市交通主管部门和决策者参考。

The urban transportation is a major problem which persecutes and troubles the urban administrators and the citizens of the cities. Because of the traffic problems, in such big cities as Beijing and Shanghai, the urban operation efficiency has been so much decreased that some of these cities have even become uninhabitable ones. Furthermore, more and more small and medium-sized cities have begun to be blocked up, and these cities are now accelerating their developing steps to the big ones and megacities. If now we pay high attention to this situation, the traffic jams in the near future may be greatly slowed down. This paper takes Deyang City as an example to make the preliminary probe into the traffic development of the small and medium-sized cities, with several suggestions provided for the authorities and the decision-makers as the reference materials.
