独立学院英语专业精读课考试命题策略初探

Discussion on Test Designing Strategies of Intensive Reading Course For English Majors of Independent Colleges

随着"独立学院"在我国高等教育领域的不断发展,独立学院的英语专业也越来越受到关注。从学生的英语水平上来讲,独立学院英语专业的学生和公立院校英语专业的学生之间存在巨大的差距。因此,作为独立学院英语专业的教学工作者,我们尝试通过理论和实践的综合研究,探索出适合于独立学院英语专业学生考试的命题策略,从而通过科学的测试促进课堂教学,改善教学效果,逐步提高学生的英语水平。

With the rapid development of ＂independent colleges＂ in China, more and more attention has been paid to English specialty of the independent colleges. However, a huge gap exists between English majors from an independent college and those from a state university in terms of English level. Therefore, as the English teaching staff in an independent college, we intend to explore the test designing strategies that agree with our students through a comprehensive research of both theory and practice. Hence the classroom teaching, the effects of learning and students＇English abilities could all be improved gradually with the help of scientific examinations.
