摘要
旅行小说以道路叙事为主要内容,通过叙述人物在旅行途中的冒险和经历,来记述异域的风土人情,表现人物在旅行途中遭遇的困厄或在跨文化交际中的困惑,以及揭示人物的精神成长或肉体毁灭等。然而这一重要的文学范式却没有引起中外文艺评论界的关注。本篇论文试图从旅行小说的叙事功能、叙事模式和叙事元等三个方面来从理论上建构旅行小说这一范式,以期从总体上给这一文学范式构建一个大致的轮廓。
A travel novel describes the exotic landscapes, the sufferings that a protagonist experiences and his puzzlement in cross-cultural communication and reveals his spiritual growth or physical death. Yet this great literary genre has been ignored by literary scholars. This thesis aims to analyze the literary genre from its narrative functions, narrative patterns and narrative elements, so as to establish a rough structure of the travel novel.
