艺术语言、发展路径和评价体系是中国新媒体艺术研究中的三个重要范畴。艺术语言既是一切艺术创作实践的关键,又是一切文艺理论研究的核心,对于新媒体艺术来说,它更是艺术与技术、传统与当代、世界与民族接合的界面。发展路径是一切艺术历史发展的轨迹,它是各种环境要素"合力"的结果,是艺术内因与外因博弈与妥协的产物,对于新媒体艺术发展史研究来说,它更是信息量极为丰富的解剖样本。评价体系是一切艺术批评的主要依据,对于以复合与跨界为基本特性的新媒体艺术来说,评价体系指标的多元与整合性是不难理解的。三者相加,刚好构成了文艺学的学理结构,中国新媒体艺术发展中艺术语言的民族性、发展路径的独特性和评价体系的整合性是一切研究者必须关注的。
