It is commonly known that God created the world, but no possible for him to creat evil in the world because he himself is the Good itself. But how do we explain the existence of the evil in the world? Augustine answers that evil is a privation of good, and there are several equivalences to Good, they are Unity,One,Existence,Veritas(Truth) and God.From this point, the author teases apart Augustine’s ideas of God,Unity,One,existence,Veritas(Truth),verum(truths),and the relationships among them. The author therefore clarifies some misunderstandings on these ideas.
