摘要
本文尝试以连接词和介词两类连接成分为例,运用语料库方法研究汉译小说的形合特征及其历时变化。研究显示:不同时段的汉译语言既有形合度普遍增高的共性特征,也有个性差异。这一结果可从内因和外因两方面进行阐释:一方面,翻译语言受源语形式特征的影响,大幅度扩展了它的结构张力和话语标记的应用范围;另一方面,汉语语言本身具备自我调节功能,扬弃由翻译这种语言引发的语言变化,最终成就了汉语文学翻译语言形合的时代特征。
The paper looks into the hypotactic features in translated Chinese fictions from a diachronic perspective,with connectives and prepositions being two measures of hypotacticalization.It shows that the language used in translated fictions of different periods demonstrates a common hypotactic tendency with different hypotaxis degrees.A further analysis reveals that on the one hand translated Chinese is influenced by the source language,and on the other hand,the Chinese language,being so highly self-regulating,has been duly adjusting itself to meet the needs of the times.
