摘要
范宁的《论语》注,秉承古朴平实的汉学传统。注重训诂,对汉儒旧注加以精确审定,多有新见。义理阐发,现实性强;虽瑕瑜互见,但绝少受玄学影响,与魏晋玄学化注经的主流迥然相异。
Adhering to Chinese academic tradition, Fan Ning annotated The Analects by emphasizing exegetical research. He carefully reviewed the old annotations by the scholars of Han Dynasty and brought forth his independent ideas. Not without any drawbacks, his research was scarcely affected by the standard metaphysical study in Wei and Jin Dynasties.
