On the New Level of Vocational Morality for Chinese People's Police

2011年9月,公安部印发了修订后的《公安机关人民警察职业道德规范》,内容是十条"忠诚可靠、秉公执法、英勇善战、热诚服务、文明理性、严守纪律、爱岗敬业、甘于奉献、清正廉洁、团结协作",给新时期的公安工作提出了新的要求。人民警察职业道德的有三种境界:最低层次-损人利己;较高层次-利人利己;最高层次-克己利人。

In September 2011, the revised ＂Vocational Moral Standard of Chinese People＇s Police＂ was issued by Ministry of Public Security. The main contents are： ＂loyal and reliable, fair and square, brave and militant, serving and sincere, civil and reasonable, strict and disciplined, professional and devoted, diligent and dedicated, impartial and incorruptible, unity and cooperation＂. It put forward new standard for the police. In this paper, three levels are given from the perspective of new version of ＂Vocational Moral Standard of Chinese People＇s Police＂, which are as follow： the lowest level - Harm others for the benefit of oneself; the higher level - benefit both others and oneself; the highest level - benefit other while harm oneself.
