摘要
以殷张兰熙、齐邦嫒翻译的《城南旧事》英译本为研究对象,探讨该书译者的翻译动机及其"诚实翻译"原则在书名、文化负载词、场景、童谣和诗歌等英译方面的具体运用。
Taking the English version of Memories of peking：South Side Storiesby Nancy Ing and Qi Bangyuan as the object of study, this paper explores the translation motivation, principle of faithful translation and strategies used in title, cultural - loaded words, scenes and poems.
