摘要
在比较经典范畴理论和原型范畴理论的异同的基础上,探讨了原型范畴理论在高校英汉翻译教学中的应用,指出在翻译教学中,宏观上应让学生树立"原型语篇"的翻译观,微观上指导学生如何运用原型范畴理论进行语篇的再范畴化,从而顺利完成语际间的转换;在翻译标准的评判上,原型范畴理论也有其较好的解释性。
Basing on the comparison between the classical category theory and prototype category theory, this paper explores the prototype category theory's application in translation teaching, and emphasizes that macroscopically, teachers should make students build up the translation view named "pretotypical discourse", and microscopically teach them to re- categorize the discourses via prototype category theory, so as to fulfill the transformation between languages. Prototype category theory can well explain the translation criteria in target languages.
