With the development of network technology, multimedia technology and corpus ＂multimodal discourse＂ teaching research has become a hotspot in the field of foreign languag research, e teach- ing and research. This thesis first elaborates on the multimodal discourse and its teaching theory, and then focuses on the multimodal design of classroom teaching mode for application-oriented college English, and finally expounds the teaching framework of muhimodal information cognition. This research aims to ex- poses more efficiently.
