Problem based learning （PBL）is a popular teaching mode based on problem and student-centered method. This article gave a summary discussion on how to design problems in Problem based learning （PBL） of veterinary pathology according to teaching goal, teaching content, the setting and reality of problem, com- plication and comprehension of problem, systematicness and correlation of problem and ill-structure of prob- lem.
