经过多年的发展,广州市初步建成现代化的综合交通运输系统,为广州市的社会经济快速发展发挥了至关重要的作用。新的时期,广州将强化国家中心城市的地位,进一步提升综合门户枢纽功能,强化广佛同城效应,引领珠三角加快产业升级,提升珠三角乃至广东全省的区域综合竞争力。可以预见,未来广州城市空间结构、人口结构、就业分布及交通需求特征等都将发生一系列巨大变化,城市交通发展面临重要机遇和挑战。通过对广州市现状交通出行特征进行分析,掌握人、车、路的出行特征及运行规律,研判未来城市交通发展基本走向,提出相应的发展思路和具体的对策建议。

In the new time, the national center city status is strengthen, comprehensive portal hub function is enhanced, industrial upgrading of Pearl River Delta is accelerated, and comprehensive competitiveness is promoted of the regional of the Pearl River Delta even Guangdong province. In the foreseeable future, there have a series of great changes on city spatial structure, population structure, employment and the distribution, and transportation demand characteristics, which will face great opportunities and challenges of city traffic development. So, on the basis of the traffic characteristic of Guangzhou is analysised, and traffic development trend is diagnosised. Some development thinking and specific suggestions were proposed.
