摘要
现代有轨电车系统是一种介于公共汽车和轻轨之间的中低运量轨道交通系统,与其他公共交通方式相比,具有舒适度高、低碳环保等优势。当前,武汉市城市交通拥堵问题日趋严重,面临巨大挑战。优先发展公共交通系统,是缓解城市交通拥堵、满足居民出行需求的重要途径。在对比分析有轨电车与其他交通方式优缺点的基础上,从城市环境、交通需求和地区适应性等方面分析有轨电车在武汉市的适应性。
Tram is a kind of city rail which runs on track. Its capacity is between bu~ and light rail. Compared with other public transport mode, tram is a comfortable, low-carbon emission and environmental friendly mode. Right now, the traffic congestion problem becomes more and more serious in Wuhan urban area. Public transportation priority development might be the right solution to the urban traffic problem. This paper makes an analogy between tram and other public transportation modes as well as makes a comprehensive analysis about the tram system＇s adaptability to Wuhan.
