去年10月,国际平面设计社团协会(Icograda)与马来西亚平面设计协会(wREGA)在马来西亚古晋合作举办了“重新发现”(Rediscovery)主题设计周,该活动旨在探讨设计在维护与促进本土文化、重新挖掘传统艺术在全球经济中的商业潜力方面所扮演的角色。
Last October, Icograda, in partnership with the Graphic Design Association of Malaysia (wREGA), wrapped up its Autumn design week in Kuching, Malaysia. The theme, Rediscovery (15-21 October, 2012) heralded a discourse on the role of design in preserving and promoting indigenous cultures and (re)discovering the commercial potential of the traditional artisan in a global economy.
