翻译伦理研究的批评性解读

Critical Reflection on the Current Studies of Translation Ethics

"翻译伦理"目前正成为翻译研究的热点之一,它在开辟翻译理论研究的新领域时也存在很多缺陷。首先,由于贝尔曼在提出翻译伦理这一命题时本身并没有作出清楚的界定,加之理论在研究过程中发生的变异,国内研究者与国外研究者在研究方法和研究对象上发生重大差异。这种差异既是一种误读,也从某种意义上拓宽了翻译伦理研究的范畴。其次翻译伦理本身只是掩盖了二元对立的矛盾,同时会带来实践与理论的新矛盾。再次,理论研究者从不同的角度切入,造成了众声喧哗的局面,却并没有取得实际的进展,因而从伦理学研究的角度出发,将现有的翻译伦理研究进行分类,才能更好的廓清研究方向,促进其发展。

＂Translation ethics＂ is currently one of the hot issues in translation studies.It not only opens a new area but also presents a lot of deficiencies.First,owning to the fact that Berman failed to provide a clear definition and that the theory was distorted in the process of traveling,the studies on China's Mainland differs from those of the foreign academia in both research method and research object,this is,on the one hand a misreading;on the other hand an expansion of the field of translation ethics studies.Secondly,the contradictory nature of the theory itself limits its application in translation practice.Lastly,the present studies need to be reorganized.A re-categorization from the perspective of social ethics studies offers a possible solution for the further development of translation ethics.
