The end of education ＇s to cultivate human and make human be complete. That is the essence of education. But now, the education in Chinese universities am full of skill education which have a name ＂specialist education＂, in essence, it is an ＂utilitarian education＂ . Through the fable of Plato＇s Spheric human, the article makes use of the thought of classic education in Chinese and Western, reassert the idea of cultivating human, and insist that reading the classics is the main way fore education.
