CBUPO理论在大学英语教学的应用

摘要 RichardSagor,美国教育探究性学习研究会(the Institute for the Study of Inquiryin Education)的创办人,1993年总结出了人类内心都渴望得到的五种需要的满足,即CBUPO理论[能力感(Competence)、归属感(Belonging)、有用感(Usefulness)、潜能感(Potency)和乐观(Optimism)]。Sagor认为当一项活动能够使一个人满足以上的需要时,他(她)就会对此项活动全身心地投入。因此,在大学英语教学中贯彻CBUPO理论,激发教师教和学生学的动机,尽力唤起和满足教师和学生英语教学和学习中的五大需求,英语教学和学习的效果就会大大提升。
