With the steady improvement in students＇ English proficiency, general English alone can barely meet students＇ learning need. Research results reveal that follow - up college English course, as an additional supplement to general English, can better meet students＇ need in improving their comprehensive ability in using English, thus facilitating them in their professional learning and job hunting as well.
