The 18 National Congress of the CPC was an important general assembly held at a critical time when China is entering the period of building a well-off society. The general assembly made comprehensive arrangements of various undertaking concerning the CPC and China and further clarified the development objectives and grand blueprint for the next period. Since the 18 th National Congress of the CPC, in Qingdao, a passion for implementing the spirit of the 18 th National Congress of the CPC has emerged. By holding high the great banner of socialism with Chinese characteristics, through hard work, Qingdao will make efforts to create a new situation in scientific development. With a view to accelerating the construction of a modern international city suitable for habitation and building a well-off society, people from all walks of life are volunteering to offer their advice.
