Temple and Property in Contemporary China

与古代相比,当前寺院更深度地卷入到市场经济的浪潮中,寺院财产来源日益多元,面对丰富的寺院财产,如何保持佛教徒与财富的距离,如何保持寺院的纯洁,如何使用寺院财产成了丞需解决的问题。寺院通过兴建庙宇、修造佛像,以恢宏、庄严的建筑来供奉"三宝";加大佛学人才的培养,提升僧侣的修养;同时积极参与社会慈善活动,向社会进行布施,对财产的正当使用,体现了佛教财富观中的超脱性,有利于佛教的健康发展,有利于和谐社会的建设。

Compared with ancient times,the current Temples have been deeply involved into the tide of market-oriented economy.With multiple sources of assets and properties as for these temples,how to keep proper distance with property,how to maintain the purity of temples as well as how to use the property has become a problem.Through the construction of temples,enhance the monks cultivation,at the same time actively participate in social charity activities,the fair use of temple property,reflected the Buddhist view of wealth,which in favor of Buddhism 's health development,make contribution to the construction of harmonious society.
